Who is AutoluxPuzzles.com and what do you do?

AutoLux is a limited liability company based in Colorado U.S.A, and was founded in 2008. We hold jigsaw puzzle solving tournaments where people can compete by solving online jigsaw puzzles and win great prizes. Each tournament has a defined start and end date and an associated prize for the winner. You enter each tournament by paying a nominal entry fee and get a chance to test your skills against other competitors. If you have the shortest solve time at the end of the tournament, you win the prize. Where are you based?

Our offices are based in Colorado. Our mailing address is 1067 S. Hover St., Unit E, #130, Longmont Colorado, 80501. You may contact us using the contact us link on the web site or by clicking here Contact us. We are not posting a telephone number because we are a small company right now and do not have the staffing to take all your calls. We hope to expand soon to be able to offer additional services.

 

 

How do I enter a Tournament?

To enter a Tournament you can click on the “Enter” button for any Tournament displayed next to the photo of any of the prizes on our web site and then follow the on screen instructions. You will be asked to provide some personal information to help us confirm that you meet the requirements for entry in our Tournaments and to contact you in the event that you should win. You will also be asked to provide payment information. You will then be presented with a jigsaw puzzle which you must solve as quickly as you can. We suggest that you first try a few puzzles displayed in the free practice puzzles area. We do not issue refunds, nor accept responsibility for users whose computers and software do not meet our minimum requirements. The length of time it takes you to solve the puzzle will be recorded and sent to you via email together with your payment information as your receipt. We would like to emphasize that although you can participate in the Tournament immediately, your entry is not valid until your credit card payment has been cleared. Your receipt will be sent to you via email once this verification is complete. Please take the time to read our Terms and Conditions and verify system requirements prior to attempting to enter any Tournament.


 

 

Can I practice before entering a Tournament?

Yes. We have provided a variety of free jigsaw puzzles which you can solve in order to hone your skills for free. As a matter of fact we strongly encourage you to practice prior to entering our Tournaments. Solving our jigsaw puzzles requires practice and skill. There is no luck involved in winning. You can use this link to access our free practice puzzles and practice. Once you feel you are ready to test your skills against other competitors, you can enter a Tournament and compete against others to win prizes.

How long is the tournament?

Each Tournament will have a defined duration. The amount of time remaining before the tournament ends will be clearly displayed on the entry screen for each tournament. Once the countdown timer reaches zero, participants will need to enter other active tournaments.

Can I participate in Tournaments without becoming a member?

Yes. You may participate in any of our Tournaments if you meet the conditions set forth in our terms and conditions and you purchase a Tournament entry ticket. We will retain your contact information for the purpose of notifying you in the event that you should win.  However, you will not be able to take advantage of our membership benefits without becoming a member.  We encourage you to read about membership.  It's free.


 

 

Why should I become a member?

By becoming a member at www.Autoluxpuzzles.com, you will be automatically entered into our member benefits program.  AutoLux will regularly hold random drawing in which prizes will be awarded only to our members.  In addition, as a member you are eligible for our referral program, and will get discounts on tournament entry fees.


 

 

What is the referral program?

The referral program is one of the ways we thank our members. As a member you can refer your friends to join AutoluxPuzzles.com using the Tell My Friends Link . Then every time one of the friends you referred becomes a member, we will deposit a referral bonus into your account. The referral bonus can be used just like cash at AutoluxPuzzles.com to pay for tickets to enter tournaments or to purchase AutoluxPuzzles.com gift certificates for other friends.

 

 

What is my password?

You choose a password when you become a member. If you can't remember your Password then Click Here .

 

 

Can I modify my personal information?

Yes, if your personal information has changed (address, credit card info, email, telephone number, etc.), sign in at Autoluxpuzzles.com using your userID and password, then visit your management area and update your information. Link to update your personal information .

 

 

I was expecting an email from you, but didn’t get it. What happened?

If you are not receiving our emails, there could be a problem with your mail box, or possibly your internet mail provider has filtered the mail as Spam and is not forwarding it to you. Read your internet mail provider's help pages to find out how they filter bulk mail and what you can do about it. Contact your ISP for support in adjusting the inbox filter options.

 

 

Why won’t the puzzle work on my computer?

Our puzzles require Adobe Flash Player 8 or higher to work. You can download it from the Adobe site or Click here. If you can run the puzzle from your normal browser but not from the link in the e-mail, your e-mail program is likely starting a different, inferior browser to display pages from a hyperlink. Read your e-mail program's help pages or contact your ISP for specific advice about how to control the browser which your e-mail program uses.

 

 

How do I know I will actually get the prize if I win?

We have contracted the firm of Marc, James & Associates to audit our program and confirm delivery of prizes to winners. Each winner is contacted by our attestation firm to confirm delivery of the prize. Monthly reports are filed by Marc, James & Associates and are available on our web site under Attestation Reports. You can alternatively obtain the attestation reports directly from our attestation firm for a nominal fee by contacting Marc, James and Associates PC, 1745 Shea Center Drive, Suite 400, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.

 

 

What are the system requirements for my computer to be able to play?

You will need an up to date computer running on the Microsoft windows platform (XP or more recent) operating system. The browsers supported by our system and games are Firefox 1.0 or newer and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or newer. Your system will need at least 500 MB of RAM. Do I have to sign up to play?

No. You can play in our Free Practice puzzles area as often as you like without signing up or becoming a member. It’s absolutely free. But if you want to compare your skills to others and see how your solve times match up, you will need to sign up. Signing up is free!

 

 

Can I participate in a tournament without signing up?

Yes. You will need provide contact information and pay for your entry using a valid credit card. We will store this information so that we can contact you in the event that you should win. What do I have to do to become a member?

To become a member you need to deposit $10 in your account and maintain a minimum balance of $5 at all times. At the last step of the sign up process check the box labeled “Become a Team Member” and then deposit the $10 required. If the check box is not checked, you will not be a member.

 

 

How do I beome a team member after I signed up?

To become a member after sign up, go to your management area by clicking the link next to the search box on the home page after logging in. Then click on “View Info” next to “my personal information”. At the bottom of this page check the box “Become a Team member” AND “Accept Terms and Conditions” then click “Submit”. You will need to provide payment information in order to deposit the required $10 in your account in order to complete your membership. Once done you are ready to enjoy your membership benefits. How do I find out if I am a member?

The easiest way is to login to your account on AutoluxPuzzles.com and go to your “management area”. The first line displayed on this page is “Accont Stauts”. Look across your account status to find out if you are listed as a “member” or “non-member”.

 

 

What do I do if I am a member and no longer wish to be a member?

Simply spend the money in your account so that your balance is less than $10 and ignore our system reminder that ask you to add funds in your account to maintain the minimum balance required for membership. Your membership status will be automatically revoked.

 

 

How do I close my account?

You can remove all information about yourself from our system and close your account by logging in to your account and going to your management area. The last line displayed on this page gives you the ability to delete your account. Click on the link directly across the “delete my account” and your account will be permanently deleted from our system. Please be sure that you have a balance of zero in your account before deleting your account. We do not offer refunds!

We are a small startup company and do not have the resources to staff telephones. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to offer this service in the near future. What are Pool tournaments and how do they differ from other tournaments?

Pool tournaments are tournaments with a cash prize, but unlike other Tournaments which have a fixed value for the prize, the dollar value of the prize in pool Tournaments grows with each additional entry. We retain a fraction of each entry for hosting the tournament and to offset our costs, and deposit the rest in the “pool” which continues to grow until the tournament ends. The total value of the prize in these tournaments is dependent on how many people enter. The more people that enter, the larger the pool grows.
